Note
Vilhelm Holmgren var konstnär och bosatt i Paris under åren 1900-1910. Han ställde ut ett flertal gånger på Salongen i Paris, men hade bara en enda separatutställning i Sverige (1912). Holmgren målade framför allt familjen, trädgården, blomsterstilleben och landskapsmålningar. Sonen Leo blev sedermera skulptör.
