Memory of the World - Documentary heritage collections at the National Library of Sweden
To ensure that the global documentary heritage is preserved and made available UNESCO has formed the Memory of the World-programme.
At the National Library we have the honor to hold three of these collections: The Astrid Lindgren archive, the Dag Hammarskjöld collection and the Freedom of Press Ordinance.
Two of these collections you can find here in Arken:
Astrid Lindgren Archives
The archive deposited at the National Library is the first Swedish collection to be made part of the UNESCO Memory of the World Register in 2005.
